You’re Sales/Business Development? Then this is for you to not waste any more time.
Q) Why?
A) I have nothing against receiving connection requests, but as far as sales is concerned I’m simply the wrong person to talk to - I’m neither in procurement, nor in buying, nor in decision making.
So, I (usually) ignore requests. If we already know each other though, I’m open to connect.
Q) Do you hate sales people?
A) Absolutely not. I understand it’s your job to reach out and to cold call, but our time is limited and any requests, approaches or even pitches are wasted on me. Therefore, I’m just being ignorant here. Sorry. The Hollywood Principle applies: If I’m interested, I’ll reach out.

A) Read. The. Profile. (Let’s called it RTFP.) All of it. Any questions, please let me know.

A) No. My LinkedIn profile contains all the information.
Q) Do you hate recruiters?
A) Absolutely not. However, I have a hard time when positions are to be filled with the right people and I’m obviously not. Again, RTFP. Thanks!
